That just pisses me off

Hey guys,

As usual I spent some of the time off I had not creating the youtube videos you love and enjoy, reading some of your messages and watching some of your videos. I was sent a message suggesting I would like a certain youtubers video and I said to my self what the hell, I have some extra time, I will take a look at what he's got. This video was listed as a "rant video"and every once and awhile I get a good rant with good points and good quality, so it might be ok to watch.

This video however was neither good NOR entertaining. The guy had no editing, seemed to only film from the neck up leaving TONS of room above his head, so you saw the ugliest wall in most of the video AND where I drew the line was when he said "I only trade for rarity not for cost because its fair. I only give an ultra for an ultra."

His entire video was dedicated to complaining about the prices of 3 cards. pot of duality, solemn warning and glow-up bulb. The first topic of discussion began with pot. "Pot of duality is being reprinted, it should not be that expensive." Really, that is your big point, umm... did you forget that nationals worlds and tons of local tournaments are on before pot is reprinted. One thousand eight hundred plus people have flocked to Pittsburgh to participate in the north american world championship qualifier. Do you think that at least one or maybe two people may not have the 3 pot of duality's that are needed to run a lot of competitive decks. The price may go down closer to the actual release date, but until then, people still like to do well and win.

The next point this well educated, Youtuber made was that solemn warning is only an "ultra" and that anyone who is not getting rid of this "ultra" for just as much as an "ultra" from any other set was just greedy. I always HATE when people say that. Especially when they do not own the card in question. The reason solemn sells for so much is that it is GOOD! It is so detrimental in this format as the monster effects are far to costly to let the monster hit the field. The reprint may be so far off and the pack is no longer available, that i'm surprised that it isn't more than what it is now.

The last comment he made was about glow-up.... "you only need one!" he says. Stop hording them and they would go down in value. Fellow youtubers! Know this, Glow-up bulb is in a set that is lack luster. Which means there were very few packs purchased. So unless people are randomly going to spend thousands of dollars on this set, the supply and demand will determine the price. Most people do not horde cards. They are just looking for a profit or to get money for their luck. A winning lottery ticket only costs a couple of bucks originally. Does that mean it is worth less, HELL NO! your luck got you something good, therefore take advantage and get those dollar bills.

So stop using rarity as a selling point to why a card should decrease in value. Remember supply and demand is based on place and time, not just how many are printed and distributed.
